After receiving feedback from members, FPSNA Council made the following changes to the bylaws revision proposal:

• Defer “Objective 11:  Make the bylaws and its preamble consistent with the mission statement, particularly through use of “promote and preserve.””  Keep the recommended changes in the body of the bylaws and defer changes to the mission statement.
• Put “Section 2 – Mission Statement” back to the original wording.  Previous changes to 2.1 and 2.4 have been removed.
• In Section 12.6, move mandatory branch certificate statement to this section and have members vote on bylaws alterations made by Council that are necessary to maintain the branch certificate.  It now reads “12.6  FPSNA shall maintain a branch certificate with the Fell Pony Society.  Alterations to the bylaws required in order to maintain a branch certificate with The Fell Pony Society may be made by consensus decision of Council.  These alterations must also be noticed to the membership per section 12.4 and put to a vote of the membership at the next Annual General Meeting.” 
• In Section 13.2, change where FPSNA assets go upon dissolution.  “All FPSNA assets and property will become the property of FPS, as allowed by governing law and available funds to accomplish the transfer.”
